Swap plastic dish brushes in the kitchen with our 100% biodegradable beechwood and sisal fiber dish brush.

The head is removable and replaceable. Bundle with refill heads to save! Our kitchen brush has a beechwood handle with sisal fiber (agave plant) bristles. Minimally fastened together with a metal wire & metal loop to hang to dry.

Size: Brush with handle is 9" in length.

Care Instructions: Hang to dry in between uses, on a dry towel or elevated to allow bristles to drain. Never leave submerged in water as it will wear on the wood causing it to crack or may cause the natural bristles to fall out. Heads last about 6 months, and handles last a couple of years. Cracking is perfectly normal for this brush as it comes uncoated- it will not affect the performance. If you find that to be unsightly, you can wax or oil the brush before use. Comes with a care instruction card.

Wood is naturally antimicrobial, but if you need to clean your brushes, clean bristles with vinegar to kill bacteria.

Brush Head Replacement: Pinch the wires together near the head of the brush and slide the small circular metal piece down to remove old brush head- you may need pliers the first time you change it. Slide a new brush head on and slide the metal piece back to its original position to hold it tight.

Brushes and refill heads come with the option to be coated or uncoated depending on your preference. Coated has a natural plant varnish, uncoated is natural beechwood only- no varnish. Refill heads sold on a separate listing.

Mother Earth Approved: Wooden handles with 100% sisal plant fiber bristles (agave plant).

How to Dispose: Heads can be demoted to household cleaning then home composted. Metal parts can be scrap recycled.
